Did you know you can file your USCIS immigration forms online? If you're tired of waiting for responses from USCIS in the mail, this is a great step forward. Although the system isn’t flawless and still has some technical challenges, it’s a promising start that you should take advantage of.

Here’s a list of USCIS forms you can file online:

  • Form AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address Card
  • Form G-639, Freedom of Information/Privacy Act Request
  • Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card
  • Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative
  • Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status
  • Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization (for certain categories)
  • Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status
  • Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings
  • Form N-400, Application for Naturalization
  • Form N-565, Application for Replacement Naturalization/Citizenship Document
  • Form N-600, Application for Certificate of Citizenship
  • Form N-600K, Application for Citizenship and Issuance of Certificate Under Section 322

To file online, simply create a USCIS account HERE. Once you have an account, you can submit forms, track your case status, and receive updates directly from USCIS.

Additionally, U.S. service members and veterans can file their N-400 forms online as well. Military personnel may be eligible for special provisions under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which could waive their filing fees and allow the use of previously submitted fingerprints. For more details, visit Naturalization Through Military Service.

Remember, while these forms can be submitted online, USCIS still accepts paper submissions by mail. Also, note that combined processing (submitting multiple forms at once) is not available online, so for certain cases, like adjustment of status, you may still need to submit your forms via traditional mail.
